Jedan od najpopularnijih StarCraf 2 ličnosti u Americi Goeff "iNcontroL" Robinson je iznenadno preminuo u 33. godini života usled zgrušavanja krvi u plućima.

Robinson je otkrio svoju ljubav prema igri još tokom StarCraft Broodwar-a, tokom tog perioda je igrao Zergove, da bi sa izlaskom beta faze igre StarCraft 2 prešao na Protosse koje je igrao do kraja karijere. Te 2009. godine postaje član Evil Genuses SC 2 tima uz koje je bio sve do 2017. godine.

Iako rezultatski nikada nije uspeo da se nosi sa najjačim igračima svog vremena, iNcontroL je za kratko vreme otkrio da je „rođen“ za StarCraft i paralelno počinje da komentariše na turnirima, strimuje i pravi SC 2 podkaste.

Ubrzo se probija kao jedan od najpopularnijih komentatora, zbog čega je dobio poziv od Blizzarda da radi na najvećem StarCraft 2 turniru na planeti, na neki način Svetskom prvenstvu u ovoj igri, u pitanju je naravno World Championship Series Global Finals koji se tradicionalno održava svake godine na Blizzconu.

Njegova supruga je otkrila da je Robinson još 2013. godine otkrio prvi ugrušak u nozi i da je od tada vodio računa da se više kreće pogotovo tokom strimovanja. On je nedavno ponovo posetio doktora o čemu je obavestio svoje fanove na Tviteru, ali kako je sam rekao nije bilo ništa ozbiljnije u pitanju zbog čega je planirao nova putovanja i poslovne poduhvate u predstojećem periodu, a narednog meseca je planirao da poseti i Srbiju.

My August to September travel schedule is nuts. In consecutive weekends:

Socal, Sweden, Serbia, Utah, socal, DC, Montreal, London and Utah. Then I’m home.

Mid September and onward is a bit more chill but the plan is still Germany, Atlanta, socal and Utah lol.

In 2015 I was having a very bad time of things. Constant gloom and misery. We did a 2 day event together in the UK and he spent all his down time big brothering me and lending advice and perspective. A colossus in body and soul.
